Clinical Experience of Domperidone Suspension in the Patients with Vomiting in Childhood

Abstract
|
|
|
Anti-emetic agent, domperidone suspension, was orally administered at a dose level of 0.6mg/kg to 30 children mainly complaining vomiting (male : 20, female : 10) and the following results were obtained.
1) The male preponderance was observed with male to female ratio of 2 to 1.
2) Among 30 cases, domperidone suspension was markedly effective in 13 cases, effective in 12 cases, slightly effective in 3 cases and not effective in only 1 case and the effective rate was 83.3%.
3) The effective rate below 5 years of age was higher than over 5 years of age.
4) No side effect was observed.
